(San Francisco) The Point Alones fishing village was home to many chinese settlers in the 1800s. As Sharon Chin reports, the search for remnants by the Stanford archeology team is unearthing clues about the ancestors of some Chinese Bay Area residents.

Thousands of tourists attracted by the puzzles of the island`s history are also damaging the archeological sites.
